Job Description
Haig Service Corporation is in search of a dynamic Business Development Manager to become a vital part of our life safety and security services team. The central goal of this role is to generate new business opportunities, foster relationships with contractors and end-users, and to enhance our reach in new constructions, renovations, and retro-fits within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales in life safety and security systems, ensuring achievement of orders, bookings, and gross margin targets.

Consistently meet or exceed the annual sales quota as established in partnership with the Sales Manager, including a successful initial ramp-up period.

Cultivate new business and increase market share by delivering a comprehensive range of products and services to new clients.
-
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective prospecting skills and consultative selling, ensuring client confidence in Haig Service Corporation.

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintaining timely communication with potential clients.

Engage in post-sales activities to verify that all commitments have been fulfilled and customer satisfaction has been achieved.

Conduct thorough needs assessments, develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations, and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Maintain a deep understanding of our full range of products and services, staying abreast of industry trends and customer needs.

Utilize approved marketing materials to deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, clearly articulating our value proposition.

Independently manage call plans, customer follow-ups, and territory management to optimize sales efficiency and potential.

Influence specifications for new construction projects through engineering relationships and educational presentations.

Work collaboratively with internal teams such as operations, finance, and legal, as well as external resources to secure sales.

Develop and execute tactical sales strategies targeting end-users, developers, consulting engineers, and contractors.

Implement sales promotion campaigns aimed at the commercial market.
Qualifications:
-
2-5 years of proven sales success in the life safety and security systems sector, with a particular focus on contractors and end-users.

A solid track record of organic business growth and solution-based selling to new client bases.
-
At least 2 years of experience consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas in life safety and security systems sales.

Strong understanding of life safety systems, low voltage systems, installation, and testing.
-
Technical proficiency, including the ability to interpret drawings and comply with codes.

Experience in selling technical solutions through the contracting tier.
-
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Robust negotiation skills and a competitive spirit.

Willingness to travel as necessary, by air or ground.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description
We are seeking highly experienced fire alarm technicians with FASA/BASA for the state of Florida. NICET I or II is a plus, if you do not have NICET we will train you, pay for the courses, books and testing and set you on a course for career & knowledge improvement. Must pay attention to detail, work with a team or individually, communicative in all aspects of the job (with office staff, clients and other techs) Must have a willingness to share and absorb knowledge to/from other company techs. Have a keen ability to figure out problems (troubleshooting) and come up with a detailed solution, ability to present this solution to service department and client. Be on time, clean, professional. Own and maintain a basic tool set and diagnostic equipment to perform all aspects of your job. Your responsibilities will include service, testing & inspections and maintenance of commercial fire alarm and security systems. Must be flexible for on call and/or after hours or early morning service when needed. Must have a valid Drivers License and your own vehicle for the ability to get to work/office. We supply a service vehicle w/ gas card. No negative attitude toward the company, business or the people you work with.
