Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team at Haig Service Corporation (HSC). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by maintaining and developing client relationships, increasing recurring monthly revenue, and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Create and maintain consultative client relationships, engaging in retention selling to ensure long-term success and profitability. This effort will contribute to the existing active Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR).

  • Technical Training: Provide on-site technical training to architects, consulting engineers, risk providers, AHJs, end-users/owners, and key accounts.

  • Partnership Development: Explore and build partner relationships to develop and enhance business alliances.

  • Client Needs Assessment: Diagnose and respond to client needs, ensuring comprehensive written and verbal follow-up on all aspects of their requests.

  • Coordination: Coordinate with service and corporate teams to stay informed about upcoming projects, opportunities, and changes in customer specifications to maximize chances of opportunity conversion.

  • Sales Funnel Management: Maintain an ongoing sales funnel that represents a minimum of 3x your assigned monthly quota of both installation and RMR, focusing on opportunities that are 45 days old or less.

  • Documentation: Provide timely and detailed documentation in advance of meetings and site visits, ensuring continuous communication and dissemination of critical information.

  • Market Research: Conduct research and analysis of strategic market and project opportunities in line with HSC's strategy.

  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning processes with the President and/or CEO.

  • Business Implementation: Implement business plans and initiatives in coordination with other business functions.

  • Market Insight: Work closely with management to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues, competitive trends, and related information.

  • Performance Goals: Meet or exceed your assigned monthly goals within 180 days of your agreed-upon start date.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in conducting market research and analysis.

  • Ability to provide effective technical training.

Fire Alarm System Inspector/Technician

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Security and Fire alarm technician/inspector. Someone looking to show off their skills and to make a difference and help grow a company. Must be organized and responsible for your time management. Ability to use an electronic device such as an iPad for service tickets and maintaining detailed client history notes. Must be well spoken and have the ability to communicate with clients and office staff. Your responsibilities will include testing, service and maintenance of commercial security and fire alarm systems. Must be familiar with Bosch systems and programming, this is a deal breaker if you dont have this knowledge. Must have a valid NJ Drivers License with no points. Must be able to get to the office, meet up with another tech or get to the job site.

Job Description

We are seeking highly experienced fire alarm technicians with FASA/BASA for the state of Florida. NICET I or II is a plus, if you do not have NICET we will train you, pay for the courses, books and testing and set you on a course for career & knowledge improvement. Must pay attention to detail, work with a team or individually, communicative in all aspects of the job (with office staff, clients and other techs) Must have a willingness to share and absorb knowledge to/from other company techs. Have a keen ability to figure out problems (troubleshooting) and come up with a detailed solution, ability to present this solution to service department and client. Be on time, clean, professional. Own and maintain a basic tool set and diagnostic equipment to perform all aspects of your job. Your responsibilities will include service, testing & inspections and maintenance of commercial fire alarm and security systems. Must be flexible for on call and/or after hours or early morning service when needed. Must have a valid Drivers License and your own vehicle for the ability to get to work/office. We supply a service vehicle w/ gas card. No negative attitude toward the company, business or the people you work with.
