Monitoring Recovery and Getting into the “Green-Zone”
There are many tools that can help monitor and track recovery. One that we have utilized at Haig Service for over a year is the Whoop Band. These biometric devices track a variety of metrics, providing insight and information about ourselves and our bodies in a data driven manner. Each morning, the Whoop Band shows an individual recovery score percentage, categorizing wearers into a green, red, or yellow zone.
Our employees are provided with Whoop Bands to optimize their abilities through tracking recovery, allowing them to reach their full potential. One of the aspects we love most about these recovery monitoring tools is that as stated before, you are only comparing you to yourself. Though we began using Whoop Bands far before the COVID-19 pandemic, they have become even more relevant in our attempt to keep our workforce safe and optimized as well as through creating a data driven metric that gives insight into a potential respiratory related illness, and can even act as an early predictor of COVID-19 onset, even before symptoms begin to emerge.
